Awakened Tree is my capstone project, which aimed to create a board gaming table geared more towards dungeons and dragons players. With the rise in popularity of D&D, it seemed like a project that could draw a lot of attention. The project aimed to create a way to play the game by not having so much clutter on the tabletop and making the environment feels more immersive. I have been a long-time player of the game and always thought it needed more love and attention and wanted to create something that didn’t just work for the game but truly enhanced it.
